Prism Box (stylized as Prism☆Box) was a unit comprised of Prizmmy and Prism Mates.
History[]
Prism Box debuted in 2013 with the single Rainbow x Rainbow. In this MV, they were split into 4 categories. Dancers (Reina, Runa, Karin), Models (Ayami, Hina, Mia), Singers (Yuka, Momona, Natsu) and Chibicco (Mirei, Kanon). Even though Momona is included in the beginning of the music video, she didn't participate in the live performance of until she a few years later because she was still very young.
Reina is the leader and the eldest of this unit.
New Members[]
Airi and Sana were announced to be new members of Prism Mates on December 23, 2013 and made their first appearance in Prism Box's 2nd single Happy Star Restaurant.
In their 3rd and final single Glitter Runway, Sana was the main character.
Graduations[]
When Ayami, Runa, Kanon and Natsu graduated from their groups, they also graduated from Prism Box. However, no new song was made when Runa, Kanon and Natsu graduated. So the 3 were actually included in the final single.
Lives[]
When performing Prism Box songs during lives, they usually don't perform the whole song. Instead they play all 3 title tracks and turn it into the Prism Box Medley.
Disbandment[]
When Prizmmy and Prism Mates disbanded on March 31, 2017 Prism Box was discontinued.
Trivia[]
- Reina (the eldest) was 13 when Prism Box debuted while Momona (the youngest) was only 8.
- Even though Zutto mo! Zoo is considered a Prism Box song, 4 Prism Mates members (Kanon, Mirei, Momona and Airi) promoted it more.
- Even though they disbanded in 2017, Glitter Runway was their last single and it was released in 2014.
